Code 39 Issue
After upgrading a Microsoft Windows PC to 17134.48 (aka 1803) you find that the Intel Graphics 3000 card fails with an error 39. You will need to visit the PC’s bios and disable the IntelĀ® Virtualization Technology for Directed I/O (VT-d) function in order to correct the issue.
The error is: Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) {Bad Image} %hs is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status 0x
Once you have made this changes to the bios Windows 10 should correctly identify and install the graphics card drivers without any issues. For some reason the graphics card and the virtualization technologies don’t seem to work well together.
